Abstract
This article discusses the current socio-economic and administrative situation and the social conflicts that have affected social stability, peace, and tranquility in the municipality of San Juan Ixtenco, belonging to the state of Tlaxcala. Public integrity and the degree of citizen confidence in local government are also examined from the perspective of public ethics. The mixed methodology and semi-structured interviews of 100 selected sexes are used, from which it is possible to analyze, observe and describe the behavior of key actors, as well as present the quantitative data of the work. Findings show that villagers are in difficult socio-economic conditions and lack public services. Similarly, a significant proportion does not trust public institutions and local politicians. Finally, the proposals for a solution to avoid clashes between people, promote social cohesion, and promote institutional integrity in the state of Tlaxcala, Mexico, are presented.
